Employee is responsible for to perform a variety of janitorial, handiwork (custodial and/or security tasks in order to maintain a clean and safe building and building grounds and any of its components.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • Experience in maintenance and handiwork required

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of the janitorial and handiwork service.

  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.

  • Knowledge of the proper use of chemicals, fertilizers and cleaning solutions.

  • Able to recognize any areas in need of repair

  • Able to identify possible unsafe work areas

  • Diligent in completing assigned tasks in the specified time frame

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively

  • Strong sense of teamwork.

  • Able to work independently

  • Able to follow policies and procedure

  • Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners and cleaning compound solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize work orders
